The flag of Shotacon Island... so lewd~

The Lolislamic State of Shotacon Island is a island in the Heyuri Archipelago. They are a member of OTAKU and HAPI. As of Turn 359, this island is no longer a member of OTAKU. See Diplomacy.

History

The Lolislamic State of Shotacon Island was founded on turn 243 after the shotas of the People's Republic of Shotacon Island fled after being wrought with multiple natural disasters. Supreme Leader Yakuruto and the shotas blamed Hakinawa Kamisama for destroying their island, and consequently converted to Lolislam in spite, with Supreme Leader Yakuruto becoming Sultan Yakuruto. The island signed and ratified the temporary Christmas Truce Agreement, until it expired in the beginning of January.

Demographics

The Lolislamic State of Shotacon Island is now a very religious island, and the only island with a Lolislamic majority demographic(98%), and also the only island with a shota majority(96%). Numerous attacks have occurred against those on the island that still worship Hakinawa Kamisama, but these actions have been condemned by the shota government. Since suffering some backlash from the international community, the government has pulled back on their open religious zealotry.

Diplomacy

Since it is a mostly conservative island with a hegemonic religion, Shotacon finds itself at odds with other islands. Its foreign policy includes aligning with islands outside of HAPI to boost its sphere of influence reputation among nations that are not members of any bloc. As this includes the vast majority of the archipelago, and many are fledgling islands, Shotacon wishes to make as many friends and help them along the way in their goal to reach the top. Although it is not a requirement, the Shotacon government advises its allies to consider converting their populations to Lolislam, as it believes this will bring ties between them closer. Certain enemies may be treated under a no-tolerance policy (i.e. pen Island, Upchuck), while others are more open to negotiating (PC98, Hachikuji). The extent to which Shotacon Island chooses to deal with adversaries depends on the destruction they have wrought upon them, the religion they practice, and the current geopolitical climate.

Allies

All members of HAPI are considered allies, and receive food and financial aid when in dire need. In addition to HAPI, Shotacon Island is allied with several non-aligned islands. These allies are, in no particular order:

  • nekomimi Island
  • :P Island
  • Suigintou Island (HAPI member, but also allied through a mutual defense pact)

The island has also agreed to a non-aggression pact with Hachikuji Island. While not an ally, this pact ensures neither will attack the other and Shotacon can continue to export hawt shota pr0ns to their borders without fear of intervention from their government.

Enemies

Currently, its main rival is PC98 Island, formerly allied to them through the OTAKU alliance due to a pragmatic need to combat pen Island's aggression. On Turn 359, Shotacon left OTAKU, citing competition over non-aligned islands and the installment of a military coup over PC98's leadership as the catalyst for this decision. Relations were normalized again after the restoration of Rex de PC98 to the throne, but to this day, the Shotacon government has remained wary of PC98 ever since and considers them a threat to their influence over the archipelago. In a recent survey, 78% of shotas held a negative view on PC98. On January 2nd, Shotacon asserted why it did considered PC98 an enemy and rival, resulting in a brief spat between both islands.

As of January 6th, Shotacon and OTAKU relations have stabilized after negotiations went public. The truce offer for both parties is currently on hold.

Private peace talks between the two islands.
