The Everything Explodes Dramatically All At Once outage was a scheduled Outage affecting Heyuri's main server, alongside Gurochan and Kereste, lasting between 01/03/2026, and 04/03/2026. During this time, Heyurizens fell into a deep depression, because there was fuckall to do... aside from colonizing Strange World@Heyuri.
The Everything Explodes Dramatically All At Once outage was a partially-scheduled outage affecting Heyuri's main server, alongside Gurochan and Kereste, lasting between 2026/03/01, and 2026/03/04. During this time, Heyurizens took refuge on Chat@Heyuri (initially via alternative URLs) and eventually Strange World@Heyuri.

This was done as part of a server migration, a major contributing factor to which being the server that Heyuri runs on progressively got more and more clumsy, and kept spitting handshake errors, which became a problem commonly complained about to staff. This migration should've fixed that. And probably did.

Since mid-to-late 2025, Heyuri's main server had been suffering from increasing numbers of SSL handshake errors and other mysterious timeouts. In an attempt to fix the problems, it was decided that Heyuri should migrate to a fresh server, which would hopefully resolve the issues and give everyone free blow jobs. SPOILER: It did not.

To summarize Heyuri-tan is just a little dyspraxic, and the mods took her aside to fix her, just that it took a little long to do so, since the professionals called in had some problems. Kuz helped out too!
It was announced via global message that Heyuri's main server would be down for maintenance starting 10:00 UTC on 2026/03/02. (I didn't get a screenshot! FUCK!) In that message, it was noted that the community-run parts of Heyuri such as the Heyuri.LOL bunker and Heyuri★CGI would carry on without problem, and that the outage could last anywhere from an hour up to a full day.

Around a day before the outage was about to happen, it was announced that Heyuri was going down at 10:00 UTC on Sunday, 1st of March 2026, shown great big red text on as a global alert. (I didn't get a screenshot! FUCK!) In that message it was noted that community-run parts of Heyuri, such as the Heyuri.LOL bunker and Heyuri★CGI would carry on without problem, and that the outage could last from a mere hour, to up to a full day.
O SHIT! At around 20:40 (UTC) on 2026/03/01 - a day prior to the scheduled maintenance date - the heyuri.net domain went completely dark. According to... insider information, kaguya had become aware that the heyuri.net had been erroneously suspended around 2 hours before the domain eventually became inaccessible to most users. Between kaguya finding out and the domain going dark, this info was relayed to anonwaha, and a message on Chat@Heyuri went up asking users to bookmark the alternative URLs cgi.yuisuki.net & cgi.heyuri.lol since the servers themselves would still be online.

Kuz even showed back up to say that he'd help out with server migration. It'd be like a flashback to the most memorable days of Heyuri, when everyone thought it'd be gone!
At approximately 2026/03/02 16:20 (20 hours later), Heyuri's domain was finally restored, and things could finally go back to nor-

KABOOM! Later than expected, around 20:48, Heyuri goes completely dead. As a nice flashback, Heyuri★CGI's DNS records were also messed up during the first hours of the outage, and cgi.heyuri.net was inaccessible, alongside all heyuri subdomains. However, like before, the server itself was still up, and the cgi.yuisuki.net & cgi.heyuri.lol domains would bring you to the site as normal. Which may be the reason for the Mass Migration section following. Keep it in your mind for now.

Once the heyuri.net domain was restored, the main site resolved to a little temporary page telling everyone that the maintenance that was now in effect and directed users to Strange World to wait out the outage.

According to... insider information, Kaguya was aware that some issues with the registrar would result in the domain being suspended very temporarily, and was aware of this just a few hours before the domain actually offed itself. It's clear his past experience came in handy. (I think it was just a problem with DNS updates though..)
During this time, Strange World saw a massive uptick in activity; probably the most it has ever seen (although some of it was drama-related...). Chat@Heyuri's activity on the other hand was no different to usual, demonstrating that everyone made it over to the backup URLs.

After about 20 hours, Heyuri's domain resolved to a little page telling everyone about the maintenance, and directing them to Strange World to wait the outage out, where Heyuri was still active.

Mass Migration
Heyuri★CGI ended up minimally affected by the outage, and only people that were already using it really bothered to talk. Statistically, Chat@Heyuri didn't see especially large numbers, but did increase somewhat significantly on March 3rd, right around the time the outage extended a little past the expected finish date. Activity mostly seemed same as usual, as if Heyuri wasn't down.

However, over on Strange World, it was a very different story. I assume since the maintence page only linked to Strange World, the vast majority of refugees retreated there, and you saw a lot of activity happen there as a result. Pages and pages of posts were made, and I do recall even a kereste user came to complain about the outage taking forever... some spam was had, it was overall a good time.

It's not that important but I did find the guy that assumed Kuz was living in an argentinian hut amusing. Mainlanders did also say they were gonna rape all the Strange World girls and stuff, so I suppose it got a little scary for the natives, but they left after 3 days, so I don't think anyone got impregnated. Probably.

Not like you'd ever be able to see it, since at some point, Strange World's flat file storing all the messages corrupted, and posts between 2026/03/01(Sun) 21:02:07 and 2026/03/04(Wed) 17:33:23 was lost, though it should be back by the time I finish this article. This was just under 3 hours before the main imageboard came back up.
At some point during the final hours of maintenance, Strange World's flat file storing all the messages became corrupted, causing posts between 2026/03/01(Sun) 21:02:07 and 2026/03/04(Wed) 17:33:23 to be lost (though they may have been restored by the time you read this).

Just kidding. This Wiki was still asleep, and strange world's post form disappeared for me for about 7 minutes. 3 minutes after that, the wiki also revived. Hooray! Heyuri returned after a long long... 2-3 days. No reported casualties, aside from strange world logs. Probably. Nobody would kill themselves over Heyuri now, would they?

Strange World migrants left as quick as they came, but Strange World never forgot those fun filled days of hospitality, feeding mainlanders the few LOLs that they could spare. It's assumed Fat-san ate the leftovers.

It was horrible to watch!

Pre-downtime

Since mid-to-late 2025, Heyuri's main server had been suffering from increasing numbers of SSL handshake errors and other mysterious timeouts. In an attempt to fix the problems, it was decided that Heyuri should migrate to a fresh server, which would hopefully resolve the issues and give everyone free blow jobs. SPOILER: It did not.

Maintenance

There was music here, and it was Spanish Flea, that Technical Difficulties music.

Once the heyuri.net domain was restored, the main site resolved to a little temporary page telling everyone that the maintenance that was now in effect and directed users to Strange World to wait out the outage.

During this time, Strange World saw a massive uptick in activity; probably the most it has ever seen (although some of it was drama-related...). Chat@Heyuri's activity on the other hand was no different to usual, demonstrating that everyone made it over to the backup URLs.

Probably.

At some point during the final hours of maintenance, Strange World's flat file storing all the messages became corrupted, causing posts between 2026/03/01(Sun) 21:02:07 and 2026/03/04(Wed) 17:33:23 to be lost (though they may have been restored by the time you read this).

Rebooting, and Deportations

At around 17:45 on 2026/03/04, Heyuri's imageboard came back online, and many many cheers were had. It was all back!

Just kidding. Teh wiki was still asleep, and Strange World's post form disappeared for me for about 7 minutes.

Some other parts of Heyuri are still down as of writing, but here's the subdomains based on the main Heyuri page and a rough time at which they went back up. It's effectively a rough downtime graph.

 1. cgi.heyuri.net - ~16:20, 02/03/2025 (Heyuri★CGI) (never really broke, but i count the domain gone as downtime)
 2. dis.heyuri.net - ~16:20, 02/03/2025 (Strange World)
 3. img.heyuri.net - ~17:45, 04/03/2025 (Imageboards)
 4. wiki.heyuri.net - ~17:55, 04/03/2025 (Heyuri Historical Society)

Heyuri-tan is still a little crippled, and needs more therapy to do these ones:

 • mattari.heyuri.net - (Mattari AA Tester)
 • sys.heyuri.net - (Letterbox)
 • radio.heyuri.net - (Webradio)

Be patient and wait for her recovery now!
