== Gameplay ==
The game takes the form of a virtual baseball league with seasons and statistics. Players create their own teams by inputting names and parameters (stats), after which they can pit their team against other players' teams.

== History ==
In 2001, Niiyan (にーやん), the developer of Gekipawa, started out making a baseball-themed modification of [[Battle Royale]] (a Battle Royale-R instance is also hosted on Heyuri★CGI). Shortly after, they wanted to create a similar game that gave players the ability to assign attributes to individual team members, and this became Gekipawa.

Additional versions have been developed by the original creator all the way up to [https://kima3.net/gekipawa6_plus/ Gekipawa 6 Plus] (seemingly last updated somewhere around the early 2010s), but only versions up to Gekipawa 2 have had their source code distributed. ;_;
