The 2ch.sh domain expired so kaguya merged 2ちゃん with Heyuri around august 2023. It is now "Uploader@Heyuri". It was open sourced on [https://heyuri.net/#news64 2024/05/17].

It is based on [http://t-jun.kemoren.com/hokanko.htm#sc <span lang="ja">役場倉庫 PHP版</span>] (Yakuba Souko PHP ver.) (last release 2009), which itself is based on [https://web.archive.org/web/20050405215620if_/http://zurubon.strange-x.com:80/uploader/ <span lang="ja">ずるぼんあぷろだ</span>] (Zurubon Uploader) (last release 2001, started in 1997 as a [https://web.archive.org/web/19990224043452fw_/http://www.power.co.jp/tm/yuiyui/chat/upload.cgi.txt <span lang="ja">ゆいのーと</span>] (Yui Note) modification, and that was written by the same person as who coded [[Web chat#The_Evolution_of_Web_Chats_in_the_East|Yuichat]]).  It was brought to the Western web by a Heyuri user in 2020 with partial English translation, and went through a major backend overhaul in 2024 by developers on Heyuri. Detailed changelog is present in the beginning of the main script's code.
