== History ==
Here are the events as I remember them:

One day in Heyuri, two heyurizens were talking about lolicore music on some thread on [[Off-Topic|/b/]]. Realizing that they both had above average musical tastes and agreeing to the fact that lolicore had been left in a miserable state for years, they exclaimed "No, this cannot be; We cannot let this musical genre that we cherish so much pine away in indifference." Because of this temperament heyurizens have to never discuss about ideas without acting but to always be productive in their conversations, they naturally decided to create a thread that called heyurizens to get at their keyboards to create a lolicore album that would honor the genre.

There were some forked tongues. Some complained that lolicore is the "musical equivalent to a scribble", and that they'd rather use their musical talents for more noble creations. It wasn't enough to sap the good spirits of Heyurizens who were happy to have [[Fun Heyuri Community Activities|an occasion to collaborate with their peers]]. The project advanced at a steady pace. In less than a month, it was all in the bag: they had produced two album covers and a dozen of pieces that blew a wind of youth over lolicore. Today, heyurizens can pride themselves on having made a lolicore classic: Songs About Fucking Lolis.

Wormhole-kun is a name given by the userbase to a mysterious and seemingly unfixable bug wherein posts are randomly moved around or copied over, like some sort of data corruption. It has since become a large part of heyuris inside-jokes.

It was originally hosted on the Heyuri.cf domain and meant to be a P2P filesharing website, but on November 24th 2019 it was relaunched in it's current form as an imageboard. May 25th marks "Heyuri Day", as it was the day when lolico finished his new software rollout, and Heyuri in its traditional sense truly began.

As far as the records show, on December 26th, 2018, [[lolico]] registered heyuri.cf. Today, the site has been reverted back to what it looked like immediate after lolico created it, but the domain itself has been through a long history of seizures, back and forth ownership and redirects. Lolico originally created the site as a way to sharpen his PHP skills and play around with programming, something he was very new to at the time.

Very little to no interesting things happen during this period.
===The beginnings===
On 11 November, 2019, Heyuri enters a new phase of life. Spurred on by lolico's need to expand his PHP knowledge further he launches Heyuri as an imageboard, using his imageboard software; sakomoto. The imageboard itself is terribly slow just like other altchans during its time. It also does not have anything resembling modern heyuri, such as [[Rule 8]], [[Tomo]], or board culture.

Fast forward to February 5th, and [[Kuz]] now visits Heyuri. It's during one of these visits that he makes heyuris first and largest Tomo thread. It is around this time that lolico announces that he is looking for a 2nd administrator.

Kuz and Lolico start to argue like two clucking hens.

[[Akima]] makes the drama worse.

Arguments between Kuz and Lolico on Discord are posted to [[9chan]] or maybe it was 3chan.

====The long dark====
When Heyuri is taken down, [[StrawberryHeaven]] replaces Heyuri for a time. Eventually, StrawberryHeaven is killed off and Heyuri returns.

Akima is defeated by Perl.

===Revival===
After Heyuri returns, the site begins to pick up speed and [[Fun Heyuri Community Activities]] happen again.
